SlashTHREE's 'New Era' book project is the creative vision of directors Saad Moosajee and Diego L. Rodriguez. Over the years we have worked on numerous themed exhibitions; this proudly being the collective's most ambitious project to date. The New Era book was debuted and sold and this year's 2011 OFFFestival in Barcelona. We are happy to announce the book is now available for pre-order through our online shop and will be offered at a discounted rate of $15.00 (50% off) through July 16th.

The purpose of 'New Era' was to visually depict five scenarios - Decay, Descent, Struggle, Ascent and Future - which represent the death and subsequent rebirth of an organism. The many interpretations that emerged from these broad, sometimes ambiguous scenarios led to a truly surreal collection of art. As a result, the 'New Era' project highlights 21 never before seen works in addition to 20 'classics' from the last few exhibitions.

Colour, brightness and obscurity abound as the slashTHREE international art collective releases its 14th exhibition, entitled "Le Cirque Des Couleurs". This theme invited the artists not only to explore their brighter and more vibrant side but also to create free flowing, abnormal, 'circus' like imagery. On top of this, the collective has come together to create "Le Grand Cirque Des Couleurs", a massive typographical collaboration in which volunteers from the collective created pieces of art based around a letter of their choosing. For conceiving and administrating this project from start to end, our sincere thanks go to Mart Biemans, and Evan Bohringer the director and web designer for this first-time slashTHREE project.

The collective has chosen to outline the tremendous contributions of Erik Schumacher. With outstanding determination, dedication, consistency and activity since he became a member of the collective, Erik has not failed to submit to an exhibition, and has provided in-depth, thoughtful feedback on the pieces submitted by his fellow artists; his incredible ensemble of matte paintings and character based illustrations seemed to fit right in with our 14th exhibitions theme. For Le Cirque Des Couleurs Erik produced three stunning illustrations of superb quality and style, and has most definitely earned his place as this pack's Featured Artist. slashTHREE is on the verge of a new era. With major projects in the pipeline such as slashTHREE Version 4, we aim to change the face of this collective and make your experience even better, this truly is the place to be in the future. It is with great pleasure that the slashTHREE collective presents to you its 13th exhibition, entitled "Unleashed". This theme allowed our artists to delve deep into their thoughts and engage with their musings as they unleashed their creative power, producing over 70 of the finest works of art slashTHREE has to offer. It truly allowed the slashTHREE collective to show the world all of their skills and talents, and we could not be more proud of the outcome.

With the release of the exhibition, the slashTHREE staff would like to recognize the resounding contributions of Anton Semenov. Anton contributed two stunning pieces to the exhibition, Black Dream and Silence, and has rightfully earned his place as the Featured Artist for this exhibition. You can read Anton's interview with Saad Moosajee (featuring Vladimir Tomin as translator) here. On top of this, we would like to acknowledge the strong submissions from some of the latest additions to the collective, Amélie Hutt, Rron Nushi, Kode Abdo and Irina Batkova, as well as an intriguing music series contributed by long term member Murat Pak.

The past two months have been huge for slashTHREE as a whole, and big things are yet to come. At the forefront of the list, a group of staff members, artists and designers are currently hard at work designing a new version of the slashTHREE website. With a much more intuitive user experience and many new ideas being put forward for the site, we are very excited for what the next chapter in the life of slashTHREE will bring. Also, we are tremendously honored to announce that the collective has entered into a collaborative charity project with thepostercauseproject.com, to raise money for the relief efforts in Haiti.

With that, we invite you to have a look at Exhibition 13, "Unleashed", and we hope that you enjoy viewing it as much as we enjoy putting it together!

Olá amigos, estou publicando este journal para avisá-los e convidá-los para um encontro do pessoal aqui do DA que vai acontecer na cidade de São Paulo, mais especificamente no Parque Ibirapuera, provavelmente no dia 20 de fevereiro
O DevMeet já é um evento frequente em alguns países, e esse vai ser o primeiro do Brasil, ou seja, vai ser histórico rsrs no futuro vocês poderão dizer aos seus netos e bisnetos: " eu estive lá" rsrsrs
Por enquanto o evento está sendo organizado por mim e pelo Ri , mas se alguém mais quiser ajudar na organização a porta está aberta.
Vai ser algo bem simples, na verdade só um encontro mesmo, o pessoal vai, se conhece, cada um leva suas artes, todo mundo olha e proseia um pouco rsrsrs
Com o tempo, se a moda pega a gente pode organizar algo maior, com local fechado e exposição e tudo mais, que nem as feiras de anime que tem todo ano, mas por ora a gente não está podendo tanto rsrsrs
